مردي نزد روانپزشک رفت و از غم بزرگی که در دل داشت براي دكتر تعريف كرد.
دکتر گفت به فلان سیرک برو. آنجا دلقکی هست، اینقدر می خنداندت تا غمت یادت برود.
مرد لبخند تلخی زد و گفت من همان دلقکم!!

A man went to his doctor, complaining about a big sorrow deep in his heart. “go to that circus! There’s a funny clown there, he’ll cheer you up and you’ll forget all about it!” the doctor advised. The man smiled bitterly and said: “I am that clown!”​

آموخته ام كه فقط چند ثانيه طول مي كشد تا زخم هاي عميقي در قلب كساني كه دوستشان داريم، ايجاد كنيم اما سال ها طول مي كشد تا آن زخم ها را التيام بخشم.

I’ve learnt that it only takes a few seconds to cause the deepest cuts in the hearts of the ones we love, but it’ll take long years to heal them.​

خداوند سه جور به دعاهای ما پاسخ می دهد:می گوید آری و همان را می دهد، می گوید نه و بهتر از آن را می دهد، می گوید صبرکن و بهترین را می دهد!

God answers our prayers in three ways: He says yes, and then he gives you just that, He says yes, and then he gives you better than that, He tells you to have patience, and then he gives you the best! ​

صدای بوسیدن دست پدر و مادر به بلندای صدای گلوله توپ نیست؛ اما انعکاس آن مدت زیادی باقی خواهد ماند.

زرگی یک هدیه به گران قیمتی آن نیست بلکه به محبت و حرمتی است که همراه هدیه منتقل می شود، پس منتظر به دست آوردن توانایی خرید هدیه های گران نمانیم.

A present doesn’t have to be expensive to be precious, but it’s the love and respect it conveys that makes it valuable, so don’t hesitate for a lot of money to come for getting a present!​

آموخته ام ثروتمند كسي نيست كه بيشترين ها را دارد، بلكه كسي است كه به كــمترين ها نياز دارد.

I’ve learnt that wealthy is not the one who has the most, but it’s the one who needs the least.​

آموخته ام كافي نيست فقط ديگران را ببخشيم، بلكه گاهي خود را نيز بايد ببخشيم.

I’ve learnt that not only should we forgive others, but sometimes we have to forgive ourselves too.​

اگر همان راهی را بروید كه همیشه می رفتید،همان جایی خواهید رسید كه همیشه می رسیدید.

اگر همان كاری را انجام دهید كه همیشه انجام می دادید،همان نتیجه ای را می گیرید كه همیشه می گرفتید.

If you roam the paths that you always roamed, you’ll get where your always got.
And if you do whatever you always did, you’ll gain what you always gained.​

چقدر فرق است بین دو عمل:
یکی آنکه لذتش تمام می شود و زشتی اش باقی می ماند
و یکی آنکه سختی اش پایان می یابد و لذتش شروع می شود.

How very different two things can be;
something that its joy ends quickly and its menace remains, And something that its difficulties will end and then and its joys will come and remain.​

آفتاب هم با تمام سخاوتش، فقط می تواند به گیاهی حرارت دهد كه سر از خاك بیرون آورده باشد.

آموخته ام دو نفر مي توانند با هم به يك نقطه نگاه كنند ولي آن را متفاوت ببینند.

I’ve learnt that two people staring at one point may see it differently.​

چرا تلفظ عباراتی نظیر«پوزش می خواهم»و «دوستت دارم»چنین راحت است، اما بیان کردنشان بسیاردشوار؟

Why is it that although it’s so easy to pronounce “I’m sorry” or “I love you”, when it comes to actually saying them, it is so hard?​

حواسمان باشد زمانی که سرخوشیم سـر به هـــوا نباشـیم
چرا که آنوقت سهم گلهای زیر پا از خوشی ما فقط له شدن خواهد بود.

Let’s not be tactless when we’re enjoying ourselves;
Cause if not, the share of our joy for the flowers resting under our feet will be being crushed.​
