سوني دومين دوربين full Frame پر سرو صداي خود را معرفي كرد.دوربين قبلي كه A900 نام داشت ،در زمان خود يك استثنا به شمار مي رفت.چون اولين دوربين فول فريم با دقت بالاي بيست مگاپيكسل بود كه قيمتي زير دو هزار دلار داشت.سوني بار ديگر فول فريمي به بازار فرستاده است كه تمام قابليت هاي A900 را به همراه دارد ولي تقريبا 1000$ ارزانتر ار دوربين قبلي است.A850 از برادر بزرگتر خود سنسور 24/5 مگاپيكسلي،صفحه نمايش 3 اينچي با دقت 921600 پيكسل،لرزه گير نوري روي بدنه و استفاده از دوپردازنده ي Bionz را به ارث برده است.فقط منظره ياب نوري آن از صددرصد به 98 درصد كاهش يافته است.
اگر قصد استفاده از لنز هاي سري DT سوني روي اين دوربين را داريد،خبر بد مي تواند اين باشد كه در اين صورت،تصاوير شما برش خواهد شد و در فرمت APS-C ذخيره مي شوند نه فول فريم.
ضمنا اين دوربين فاقد Liveview،فيلمبرداري HD و فلاش روي دوربين است.

Ricoh GXR (A12)

اين بار Ricoh دست به ابتكار جالبي زده است و دوربيني عرضه كرده كه از دو قسمت تشكيل شده است.يك بخش شامل دكمه ها،صفحه نمايش 3 اينچي 920 هزار پيكسلي و جاي باتري بوده و قسمت ديگر شامل لنز،موتور پردازش و سنسور تصوير كه قابليت تعويض دارد.يكي از مزيت هاي اين دوربين،در معرض هوا نبودن سنسور آن و كم شدن نشستن گرد و غبار روي آن است.در حال حاضر دو قطعه! براي اين دوربين عرضه شده است كه يكي A12 كه داراي يك لنز 50 ميلي متري f2.8 و يك سنسور 1.3 مگاپيكسلي بوده و قطعه ي دوم S10 كه سنسور آن 10 مگاپيكسل و لنز آن 24-75 ميليمتري با ديافراگم ب2.5-4.4است.
